TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER STATION LANE KIRBY BELLARS

Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at the above locations.

Road closures are required on Station Lane at the level crossing on the 26th August 2023 for 2 nights (21:00hrs – 05:00hrs) and on 31st August 2023 for 1 night (21:30hrs – 05:00hrs).

The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public safety, so Network Rail can undertake level crossing inspections. Emergency access and pedestrian access cannot be maintained.

The proposed alternative diversion route will be via: Station Road, Main Road, Leicester Road (Kirby Bellars), Leicester Road A607, Wilton Road A607, Asfordby Road (Melton Mowbray) (A6006), Main Road, Main Street (Asfordby) and vice versa.
