TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER STATION LANE KIRBY BELLARS

Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to an emergency Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at the above location.

A closure extension is required on Station Lane at the level crossing. The closure is now anticipated to be in place until 02nd August 2024.

The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order has been implemented for public safety, so Network Rail can repair the level crossing barrier damaged by a vehicular strike.

The proposed diversion route will be via: Station Lane, Main Road, Leicester Road (Kirby Bellars), Leicester Road A607, Wilton Road A607, Asfordby Road (Melton Mowbray) (A6006), Main Road, Main Street (Asfordby), Station Lane Kirby Bellars and vice versa.
