Job fair to strengthen links and opportunities for local employersand job seekers

New business support service launched by Melton Borough Council

Businesses across the borough are encouraged to access a new programme of business support, the Leicestershire Business Advice Service (LBAS), funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

The free-to-access support will include start-up workshops, accelerator programmes, local one-to-one advice clinics, and more, all to help businesses at every stage of their development and growth journey.

Transport help for Covid-19 and flu vaccinations

To help people that are unable to travel to a vaccination clinic a free patient transport service is now available.

The service has been set up to provide eligible residents in Leicestershire and Rutland the opportunity to get vaccinated this autumn by helping them to get to and from a vaccination clinic if they live remotely or have no other means of transportation.

Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at the above location.

A road closure is required on Thorpe Satchville Road for 250 metres approx. from the Ashby Folville Road junction on the 02nd of October 2023 for 4 days.
